CALLAWAY WATER, A CASE IN HISTORY
Callaway County Water District #1 was formed in 1968. The District's purpose and objective is to provide needed facilities and services in the use of water, ample in quantity, pure and wholesome in quality for household, domestic, garden, livestock, and other usages from common sources of supply to district customers and thereby promote general public welfare, public health, and sanitation.
From the first purchase of land in 1968 for construction of the first well; to the most recent, in 2012, Callaway County Water District #1 is proud to provide the lower portion of Callaway County with the finest water in Missouri.
